Medical Courier Driver - North Myrtle Beach PM

Independent Contractor (1099) position based in Myrtle Beach, SC.

About the Role

Become a vital part of our mission to deliver essential medical supplies safely and efficiently to healthcare facilities across Myrtle Beach and the Carolina Forest area. This contract includes guaranteed (dedicated) routes and requires drivers to remain in the designated areas from 5:30 am to 3:00 pm to assist with on-demand orders when not completing the dedicated routes. Drivers receive a flat rate payment for the dedicated routes, with the potential to earn additional income from dedicated on-demand deliveries.

Schedule

Saturday - Sunday, 5:30 am - 3:00 pm (2 routes per day).

Responsibilities

• Be available and ready to respond to on-demand medical deliveries during scheduled hours.
• Safely transport sensitive medical materials between hospitals, emergency rooms, and other medical facilities.
• Provide outstanding customer service and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Reliable car, van, or SUV with 100/300/50 insurance coverage limits (vehicle must be provided by the contractor).
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Willingness to undergo background check, MVR review, and drug screening.
• Availability to remain in the designated service area during shift hours.
• Ability to download and operate multiple mobile apps.

Compensation

Weekly settlement with a flat rate for routes plus additional income from dedicated on-demand deliveries. All independent contractors are paid via the OpenForce platform. Weekly settlements may include applicable fees such as a System Resource Subscription fee, a Gill Logistics administrative fee, and an Occupational Accident Insurance premium (unless comparable workers' compensation coverage is already provided).
