About the role
The Medical Coordinator is responsible for assisting with daily administrative and clinical support operations within a nursing medical department. This role ensures efficient patient care coordination, supports nursing staff, manages scheduling, and maintains accurate medical records while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, including adherence to ORR and OCFS guidelines and organizational policies.

Schedule
- Schedules: Sunday-Thursday 2pm-9:30pm, Friday-Saturday OFF, with rotating on-call responsibilities
- Tuesday-Saturday 2:30pm-10pm, Sunday-Monday OFF, with rotating on-call responsibilities
- Sunday-Thursday 6am-1:30pm, Friday-Saturday OFF, with rotating on-call responsibilities

Requirements
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Bachelor's Degree
- First Aid and CPR Certified
- Nursing experience
- Valid New York State Driver's License with a good driving record as determined by the Agency
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant experience working with children
- Some psychiatric experience
- Higher Education - AS or BSN in nursing
