About the role

The role involves managing patient collections and ensuring timely payment for medical services.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient collections and ensure timely payment for medical services.
• Communicate with patients regarding outstanding balances and payment plans.
• Handle disputes and negotiate payment terms with patients.
• Follow up on unpaid accounts and initiate legal action if necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in collections or customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
