About the role
Work Schedule: 100% FTE, day shift role, Monday - Friday 7am - 3 pm Central. You will work remote.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and Medical Coding Education
- In lieu of a medical coding education, an active coding certification is required
- Graduate of a Health Information Technology program
- Two years of progressive inpatient facility coding experience
- Two or more years of inpatient facility coding experience in an Academic Medical Center and/or Level 1 Trauma Center
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
