About the role

Support children with special needs in a childcare setting. Provide hands-on care, assist with daily activities, and help implement therapeutic interventions as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding, bathing, and dressing children
• Help children engage in developmental activities and therapies
• Monitor children's health and safety
• Collaborate with other caregivers and therapists to support child development

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with children preferred but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and empathy towards children with special needs
• Basic first aid and CPR certification

Skills

• Positive attitude and ability to maintain a calm demeanor
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Good organizational skills
