Medical Case Manager - Workers' Compensation

About the role

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive case management services to injured workers in the workers' compensation system. This includes coordinating medical care, communicating with employers and insurance companies, and ensuring timely and appropriate treatment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire workers' compensation claim process from intake to resolution
• Coordinate medical care and treatment plans with healthcare providers
• Communicate effectively with employers, insurance companies, and injured workers to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
• Monitor and report on the status of claims to ensure timely and appropriate treatment
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete
• Provide support and guidance to injured workers to help them navigate the workers' compensation system

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, social work)
• At least 2 years of experience in workers' compensation or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
