About the role
Responsible for managing workers' compensation cases, providing medical assessments, coordinating healthcare providers, and ensuring timely and appropriate care for injured employees.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely treatment
- Advise employees on workplace safety and injury prevention
- Communicate with employers and insurance companies regarding case progress
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in workers' compensation or healthcare administration
- Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office
