About the role

Responsible for managing workers' compensation cases, providing medical assessments, coordinating healthcare providers, and ensuring timely and appropriate care for injured employees.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely treatment
  • Advise employees on workplace safety and injury prevention
  • Communicate with employers and insurance companies regarding case progress
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, or related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in workers' compensation or healthcare administration
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office
