The role of Medical Case Manager is crucial in managing workers' compensation cases efficiently. This position involves coordinating medical care, communicating with healthcare providers, and ensuring timely and appropriate treatment for injured employees.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate medical care for injured employees, including referrals to specialists and managing treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, employers, and injured employees to ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and company policies.
- Monitor case progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet the needs of the injured employee.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, social work).
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in workers' compensation or disability management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
