Medical Billing Specialist - Gainesville, GA

About the role

We are looking for a motivated individual to work as a Medical Billing Specialist. Applicants must be organized, able to multi‑task, and enjoy working in a cohesive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on unpaid claims, appeals, claim resubmissions, and patient collections.
• Complete other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned by the manager.
• Support other team members and remote practice staff as needed.
• Check patient eligibility.
• Identify and bill primary, secondary, or tertiary insurances.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a medical office billing department.
• Proficiency with ICD‑10 and CPT code terminology.
• Excellent communication skills with professional telephone manners.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday to Friday.
