About the role
VisionFirst is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our growing employee-owned company. This is a hybrid role that includes several days of remote work and at least one day working in the office.
Responsibilities
- Submitting medical and vision claims
- Working insurance receivable accounts
- Investigating and problem-solving billing issues
- Posting insurance payments
- Answering billing-related inquiries
Requirements
- At least one year of billing experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to manage your time while meeting goals and assigned metrics
