Medical Billing Specialist

Responsibilities

The Medical Billing Specialist generates bills for patient stays, follows up on submitted claims for reimbursement, works denied claims and sets up payment plans with patients.

Requirements

• 6 months of Medical Billing Experience Required
• Good communication and relationship skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of medical terminology

Preferred Skills

• MS4 and Waystar Knowledge
• Cash posting knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret EOBs
• Claim denial management
• Ability to utilize Excel

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent

Hours

This is not a remote position. Candidate must be available to work on site in Clive, Iowa.
