Medical Assistant with ENT

EMT and CNA welcome to apply. Hiring rate is between $20.60-$24.25 per hour and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. Active WA State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential qualifies for a starting rate of $22.25/hour and higher, based on experience.

About the role

Location: Gateway Two (2621 NE 134th Street – Vancouver, WA 98686) with flexibility to cover at Columbia Tech Center (Fisher's Landing).

Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions, including vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender-affirming treatment. The ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas is an essential function of this position.

Schedule

6:45 am - 5:15 pm; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday; Thursday off.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Collecting patient information
• Preparing patients for examinations
• Assisting with procedures
• Assisting with overall delivery of patient care

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two years of healthcare experience strongly preferred
• Required completion of one of the following:
  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential
  • Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized certification
  • Completion of a formal MA program
  • Formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces
  • EMT training and certification
  • Current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification
• Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment
• Current healthcare provider BLS required
• Experience with an electronic health record; Epic experience strongly preferred

Pay

Pay range: $21.81 - $30.53 per hour.
