Medical Assistant - Urgicare - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of worker’s compensation regulations for Pennsylvania
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, employers, third-party case managers, and consultants using excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Perform patient registration, client account setup, and patient scheduling
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and proficiency in time management
• Work collaboratively in a team setting
• Transition smoothly between various treatment settings
• Adapt to flexible scheduling requirements
• Utilize the hospital computer system

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Medical assistant office or occupational health/ED experience preferred
• Medical assistant certification, CAOHC certification, BAT, and UDS Collection (or obtained within 6 months of hire) preferred
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
