Medical Assistant - Urgent Care

About the Role

The Medical Assistant II (MA II) assists licensed practitioners in providing patient care within clinical settings. They perform all duties of an MA I and are fully competent in clinical tasks such as vital signs, injections, and medication administration, following established policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties including vital signs, injections, and medication administration
• Support patient care in accordance with policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain competence in clinical skills

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program, military medical training, or relevant work experience
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Prior healthcare and medical assistant experience
• Preferred certification in Medical Assistance
