Medical Assistant - Urgent Care

About the role

The Medical Assistant II (MA II) supports licensed practitioners by performing clinical duties to aid patient care. They are fully competent in clinical functions, adhere to policies and regulations, and perform all responsibilities of an MA I.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care
• Perform clinical tasks
• Follow established protocols
• Work on-site in a medical setting

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program, military medical training, or equivalent work experience with clinical skills (e.g., vital signs, medication administration)
• Minimum of six months of healthcare and medical assistant experience
• Certification and BLS certification preferred

Pay

$18.73 - $28.66 per hour, plus potential additional compensation.
