Medical Assistant (Triage) - Rio Vista Internal Medicine
This position is located at Rio Vista Internal Medicine office and will provide the clinical team with triage support and also work as a medical assistant to support the team as needed.
Location: 1309 S Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316
We are offering a $4000 Sign-on Bonus for a Certified Medical Assistant for qualified candidates! Various office locations available in Broward County. Typical office hours are Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm (hours may vary by location).
Responsibilities
- Room set up and patient preparation
- Take vitals; draw blood, give injections and immunizations
- Perform office tests and administrative duties
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of an accredited certified Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical experience
- Current Medical Assistant Certification from a national agency: NCCT, NHA, AMCA, NAHP or AAMA; or a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association
- Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred
