Pay

• Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential

Schedule

Day Shift: 7a - 6p 4 days on, 4 days off

As a Triage Veterinary Assistant, you will:

• Intake and Triage of Incoming Patients
• Report patient signalment, problem list, and plan during nursing rounds.
• Comfortably take vitals, including accurately counting heart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate, and effort.
• Client communication and education
• Perform consistent rechecks, chart vital sign trends and client updates.
• Constant communication with intaking doctor to ensure prompt and proper patient care.
• Stocking and cleaning as needed
• Maintain open communication with the doctor and technical staff to minimize wait times and maximize patient flow regarding long wait times
• Manage Cornerstone/Instinct hospital census
