Medical Assistant Technician Adjunct Instructor (AM/PM)

About the role

We are looking for a Medical Assistant Adjunct Instructor for our Medical Assistant Technician Diploma Program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for various technical examinations, such as EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Perform several medical assistant procedures under supervision.
• Teach students the necessary knowledge and skills in both the classroom and supervised clinical practice or capstone.

Requirements

• An Associate Degree or higher is required.
• A current Florida Certified Medical Assistant (BMO) is preferred.
• A current valid Medical Assistant Certification: RMA, CMA, or NCMA is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience at the college level, preferably in the proprietary school setting.
• A minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field they will be teaching.

Qualifications

• Exceptional computer skills using Microsoft Office applications, Adobe, and familiarity with information systems.
• Ability to deliver the course using diverse resources.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
