Responsibilities

• Efficiently rooms patients and documents in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Processes messages and documentation as needed.
• Works with providers, managers, and staff to ensure quality and cost-effective operations.
• Maintains positive relationships with patients, their families, the public, and coworkers.
• Collaborates with the practice team to facilitate interactions and enhance patient care.

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant Certification or completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Demonstrated ability to perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and obtain accurate vital signs manually and with a vital sign monitor.
• Experience in a physician office and computer use.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and interprofessional skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to collaborating with physicians to personalize and improve patient care.
• Demonstrated competence in managing acute care patients and organizing their care.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.00-$21.00 per hour, DOE (Salary Determined Upon Employment).
