Pay

Salary range: $75,000 – $125,000.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse license, and/or unencumbered Medical Assistant certification or registration through an accredited agency (CCMA, RMA, CMA, etc.).
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (required).
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred (training provided for new hires).
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check related to the position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment.
  • Take patient histories and vital signs.
  • Document information accurately using appropriate forms and charting format in the health‑care information record.
  • Perform intake procedures and assist providers with patients as directed by the Medical Assistant Supervisor and YNHS providers.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Assist with patient follow‑up activities, including referrals, recall, and other patient needs.
  • Assist other medical services staff with patient flow as needed and/or directed.
  • Assist with supply management and appropriate stocking of exam rooms.
  • Maintain proper sanitation standards, according to YNHS procedure, both with cleaning and sterilization of patient facilities and instruments.
  • Administer procedures as directed by supervisors and in accordance with Washington State Health Care Assistant regulations.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, efficient, and confidential work area.
  • Represent YNHS in local meetings as requested.
  • Perform related work and other tasks as requested.
