Role: The Medical Assistant Supervisor oversees daily activities of the medical assistant team, ensuring efficient patient flow, high-quality care, and smooth operations within a healthcare facility. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate clinical and administrative tasks of medical assistants.Manage appointment scheduling to optimize provider availability and patient access.Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to uphold clinical and operational standards.Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to improve service delivery.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and policies.Perform Medical Assisting duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Completion of a Medical Assisting program or equivalent (LPN, RN, EMT).At least 3 years of experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting.Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience.Proficiency with appointment scheduling systems and EHR.Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations. Preferred Qualifications Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credentials.Associate degree or higher in Health Sciences or related field.Experience in multidisciplinary healthcare teams and quality improvement initiatives.Leadership or healthcare management training.Bilingual abilities to support diverse patients. Skills: Effective leadership, communication, clinical workflow understanding, and compliance knowledge are essential for managing staff, optimizing patient care, and ensuring operational excellence.
