About the role
Full-time position in Springboro Primary Care, providing patient care, customer service, collaboration, data management, and laboratory support under the supervision of a nurse or licensed physician.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide competent technical and clinical services; assist care providers with procedures and physical exams; prepare patients; deliver family-centered, culturally competent care; treat families as full partners in decision-making.
- Customer Service: Act as a customer advocate; respond quickly to parent requests and concerns; provide education and information to patients and families.
- Collaboration: Work cooperatively with peers; follow complex direction to resolve problems; develop positive working relationships; share knowledge and support team members.
- Data Management: Manage records per department policy; assist with data collection; obtain consent and release forms; maintain accurate documentation and patient files.
- Laboratory Work and Testing: Manage specimens per protocols; maintain knowledge of routine testing processes; retrieve and communicate normal lab results as delegated.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Medical Assisting program and no directly related experience or
- Completion of a formal medical services training program of the US armed forces or
- 1 year of work experience in a related job discipline
