Responsibilities

• Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic
• Work alongside the provider to ensure patient care and clinic smoothness
• Room and prepare patients according to clinic specific checklists or procedures
• Measure patient weight, height, oxygen saturation, respiration, temperature, pulse (manual and automatic), blood pressure (manual and automatic), and other patient care which can vary based on clinic
• Complete required patient care documentation including Medical Histories, referral requests, etc.
• Assist with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care which can include assisting fellow teammates and providers when necessary

Requirements

• CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT: High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred; Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization; BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained
• NON-CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT: High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred; One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support; Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare; BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained

Qualifications

Additional Information

• Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
• MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
