About the role
The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience and efficient clinic operations. They are responsible for welcoming patients, documenting vitals and medical histories, performing various procedures, and supporting the clinic's overall workflow.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients warmly and create a great first impression
- Register patients, support insurance verification, answer phones, schedule visits, and collect payments
- Document vitals and medical histories accurately within the EMR
- Perform blood draws, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as permitted
- Support the team during busy shifts and help maintain a clean, efficient clinic environment
Requirements
- Prior clinical experience with 1-2+ years in an outpatient setting
- A friendly, polished, and professional presence
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Flexibility to support varying clinic schedules and nearby locations
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Qualifications
- Coachable and eager to grow
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Basic computer skills, particularly proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)

Pay
The expected hourly range for this position is $20-22, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
