About the role
Vanderbilt Health is a large academic health system with eight hospitals and over 180 clinics. The position is within the Radiation Oncology Nurses department.
Responsibilities
- Directs and supports patient flow as well as unit operations by maintaining supplies, equipment and unit environmental standards.
- Facilitates identification of resources to meet patient healthcare needs.
- Performs/assists with procedures according to organizational/departmental standards.
- Collections and documents patient screening data for the healthcare team.
- Assists with patient and family education.
Qualifications
- MA certification from organizations recognized by Vanderbilt Health as well as the website link to see information on their certification process: AMT, AAMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP.
- Consideration may be given to candidates that can obtain certification within 120 days, in accordance with state guidelines.
