About the role
The Pulmonary Function Medical Assistant II collaborates with Pulmonary Function Technologists to perform routine pulmonary function tests ordered by physicians and assists with complex testing procedures. Position is within a unionized environment.
Responsibilities
- Support pulmonary function testing processes
- Assist technologists with complex procedures
- Ensure proper execution of tests to aid accurate diagnosis
Qualifications & Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
- CPR certification required within 2 months
- One year of patient care experience preferred
Schedule
Part-time role, working three 9-hour shifts weekly from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
