Medical Assistant - Pulmonary
Position Purpose
Medical Assistants (MA) assist in providing excellent patient care by assisting physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office settings. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician.

Full Time/Days - 4x10 schedule

Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- Must meet one of the following three criteria:
- Has attended an accredited Medical Assistant training program by one of the following:
- The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs
- The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
- If your Medical Assistant program was not accredited by one of the above agencies, you will need to have a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following:
- The National Healthcareer Association: CCMA
- The American Medical Technologist: RMA
- The American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA
- The National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA
- The American Medical Certification Association: CMAC
- Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
- Able to distinguish appropriate colors
- Able to work above or below shoulder level
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to walk or be on feet 90% of the day
