Medical Assistant - PRN

Duties And Responsibilities

• Serve as medical assistant for 2 acute care clinics.
• Perform check-in for medical appointments and prepare student for medical exams.
• Perform tests such as EKG and phlebotomy per qualification.
• Affords point of care testing as needed.
• Assists with management of medical inventory.
• Assists with training of new student volunteers.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician.
• Ability to work well with college students in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Additional Considerations

• Phlebotomy experience.
• Previous work experience in a medical setting.
• Experience in an acute care medical setting.
