Responsibilities
- Direct workflow
- Triage questions/concerns
- Room patients and communicate with providers
- Assist with other duties as outlined
Requirements
- Medical Assistant Certification or LPN preferred
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Able to handle multiple clerical/administrative tasks and work in fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience as Medical Assistant preferred
- Will strongly consider students in Radiology or Nursing programs in lieu of experience or certification
- Excellent customer service skills with ability to effectively communicate with internal staff/radiologists, referring physician offices, and patients
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Medical terminology and scheduling experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Computer skills and knowledge
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, flexible, and reliable
Pay and Schedule
Compensation is between $20 to $26 per hour, depending on qualifications.
