Job Details

  • Schedule: Full-time, M-F, no weekends
  • Hours: 8a-5pm, Day shifts
  • Position: Temp-to-hire, Paid weekly + benefits
  • Contract duration: 6-months

Mandatory

  • Must pass background check
  • Must have MA school certificate

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing clinical assistance by performing routine tasks such as taking vitals, preparing patients for examinations, administering medication under the direction of a physician, and maintaining patient records.
  • Assisting in the management of patient care, including scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and coordinating patient referrals.
  • Supporting the finance team by maintaining and updating financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with budget preparation.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to understand healthcare costs and contribute to financial planning and cost management.
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on best practices in both the healthcare and finance industries.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations for management, including financial reports and health outcomes data.

Qualifications

  • A certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and finance team members.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
