Medical Assistant - Primary Care + OB/GYN Focus

This position is primarily focused on Primary Care, with the potential to support our OB/GYN team based on experience, interest, and organizational needs. Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and preparing them for exams and procedures
• Taking vital signs, patient histories, and performing diagnostic testing
• Administering immunizations and medications as directed
• Performing phlebotomy, lab procedures, and limited x-rays (if certified)
• Supporting providers and nurses with patient care and workflow
• Assisting with scheduling, documentation, and electronic medical records
• Maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms
• Delivering compassionate, patient-focused service to every individual you support

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C)
• At least (3) years of Medical Assistant experience with patients of all ages
• Previous experience in an OB/GYN or women's health setting preferred
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records

Pay & Schedule

• Hiring Range: $26.85 - $28.19 per hour
• Full-Time | Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Puyallup Tribal Health Authority | Tacoma, WA | On-Site
