About the role

Baptist Health is Jacksonville's only locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system providing a full spectrum of preventive and specialty care through 200+ locations and six hospitals. Our centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, and Wolfson Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Administers vaccines and takes vitals manually
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visits
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Requirements

• 2-5 Years Experience working in a Medical Office
• PREFERRED: 2 years Medical Assistant Experience
• BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) REQUIRED
• CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT (CMA) PREFERRED

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Associate's degree PREFERRED
