About the role
The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience and efficient clinic operations. They are responsible for welcoming patients, documenting vitals and medical histories, performing various procedures, and supporting healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients warmly and create a great first impression
- Register patients, support insurance verification, answer phones, schedule visits, and collect payments
- Document accurately within the EMR and support providers during visits
- Perform blood draws, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as permitted
- Keep documentation accurate and organized within the EMR
- Support teammates during busy shifts
- Help keep the clinic clean, smooth, and efficient
Requirements
- Prior clinical experience with 1-2+ years in an outpatient setting
- A friendly, polished, and professional presence
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Flexibility to support varying clinic schedules and nearby locations based on business needs
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Coachability and eagerness to grow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR)

Pay
The expected hourly range for this position is $20-22 depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
