About the role
The Podiatric Medical Assistant supports Podiatric providers and the clinical team by assisting with patient care, casting, splinting, bracing, patient flow, documentation, and administrative functions. This role applies and removes casts, splints, strapping, and orthopedic devices under the direction of a licensed provider.
Responsibilities
- Assists with patient care
- Casts, splints, and braces patients
- Manages patient flow
- Documents patient information accurately
- Performs administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma
- One to three years of prior experience preferred
