Position SummaryPotomac Partners is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our ambulatory care team. In this role, you will support providers by ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality clinical and administrative support. The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience while promoting quality, safety, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport providers before, during, and after patient examinations and procedures.Prepare examination and treatment rooms by ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and properly organized.Obtain and document patient histories, chief complaints, and other pertinent information.Perform routine clinical duties, including measuring and recording vital signs, height, weight, blood pressure, specimen collection, and administering injections as appropriate.Assist in maintaining efficient patient flow while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.Perform administrative responsibilities including answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining provider calendars, ordering clinical supplies, and completing other office duties as assigned.Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to promote patient safety and quality care.QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or GED required.Preferred QualificationsPrevious Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory or physician practice setting preferred.Licensure & CertificationCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) required for designated practices.Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification required for designated practices.Pay Range: $16.00 to $27.29 Based On ExperienceAbout Potomac PartnersPotomac Partners is a respected physician practice group serving patients throughout the Baltimore community.
