Medical Assistant Phlebotomist - Salmon Creek
Vancouver Clinic is seeking a WA State credentialed MA-Phlebotomist at our Salmon Creek location who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and will require floating to various locations. As a professional representative of the laboratory, the phlebotomist plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Performing venipuncture collection
- Handling and processing specimens
- Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to support positive outcomes
- Utilizing a strong understanding of department procedures, computerized EMR, and Lab Information Systems
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required
- Minimum of one year of experience using blood collection techniques in a clinical lab setting is preferred
- Ability to calm patients and work under stressful conditions
- Ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas (including vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment)
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Rotating Saturday shifts (7:30 AM - 12:00 PM) with a $2.50/hour differential
Pay
Hiring range: $22.25–$27.45 per hour. Placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. The full pay range for this role is $21.81 - $30.53 per hour.

Eligibility for benefits begins on the first of the month following one month of employment. Compensation packages and time off programs vary based on factors such as department, position type, primary work state, and FTE.
