Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

About the role

You will contribute to helping adults gain useful insight into their health by administering medically appropriate health screenings alongside a medical team of trained professionals.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform the Front desk registration customer process, Ankle Brachial Index, Osteoporosis Risk Assessment, Atrial Fibrillation, and blood test screenings in accordance with the company's protocols and in a proficient and timely manner.
• Collaborate with the team, sharing responsibilities such as driving the company van, loading, and unloading equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Work in a fast-paced environment where a passion for helping others and accuracy in performing tests are held to the highest standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy/Emergency Medical Technician program or other medical-skilled related program (new graduates welcome).
• Flexibility to work non-typical office hours, including Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays as needed. Schedules are made 3 months in advance, with varying start and end times based on community destination and customer schedule.
• Valid driver's license and clear MVR, as driving responsibilities of the company van are shared among the team.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to educate participants on products and services.
• Passion for creating and maintaining a positive environment for team members and customers throughout screening events.

Pay

Compensation includes base pay for on-site events, paid travel time, and unlimited bonus potential.

Schedule

Schedules are made 3 months in advance and run Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed. Meeting and end times vary based on the distance to the community destination and customer schedule.
