Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, assist with dressing/undressing, and ensure comfort and privacy
• Accurately review patient registration details, collect necessary forms, and complete EMR intake documentation
• Prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, obtain test results, and manage medical clearances for surgeries
• Manage patient callbacks regarding messages, prescriptions, and referrals; monitor and respond to physician queues
• Demonstrate proper fitting and usage of durable medical equipment (DME) like braces and soft goods when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Ortho Tech program (or equivalent experience)
• 1+ year of medical office experience preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records systems (Epic preferred)
