Medical Assistant - Peachtree Women’s Care of Northside Alpharetta

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing assistance and patient care to ensure patient comfort, safety, and personal needs are met.
• Affords support to physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners in a medical office setting.
• Performs various patient care duties under the guidance of a multidisciplinary patient care team as directed by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff, and Practice Coordinator.

Requirements

• One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare practices and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
