Responsibilities

• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments
• Collect co-payments
• Complete patient registration
• Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
• Check in and check out patients
• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for office visit
• Verify insurances
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height, and weight
• May perform phlebotomy and injections

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred
• One year of work experience required, preferably in a medical office setting

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $19.89 - $28.84, determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday 7am to 6:30pm, Friday 7am to 5:30pm, and rotating Saturdays 7am-1pm.
