Medical Assistant - Part Time

We have an exciting part-time Medical Assistant opportunity supporting our hearing healthcare services in Tempe and Gold Canyon, AZ. This position is for a 4-day work week, Monday-Thursday, from 8:30 AM-3:00 PM, with 2 days each week at our Tempe clinic and 2 days each week at our Gold Canyon clinic. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in helping patients. Responsibilities include supporting and administering hearing screenings for patients and making referrals when necessary. This role is critical in helping to identify and address hearing issues early, contributing to the overall health and well-being of patients. Requirements Conduct hearing screenings for adult patientsOperate and maintain hearing screening equipment, ensuring it is in good working orderAccurately record and report screening resultsCollaborate with hearing healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive careMaintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulationsPerform administrative tasks related to patient records and equipment maintenance as needed The ideal candidate has: High school diploma or equivalent - required2 + years of experience in a healthcare setting - requiredPrevious experience in hearing healthcare a plusBilingual in English and Spanish a plusStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Benefits On-the-Job TrainingFlexible ScheduleNo Weekends Compensation $20.00 per hour.
