Medical Assistant - Part Time

Responsibilities

As a Certified Medical Assistant at BHN you will provide direct care and daily support to individuals in treatment for substance use disorders. Responsibilities include:

• Take vital signs
• Assist with intake assessments and medical histories
• Monitor patients for withdrawal symptoms or changes in condition
• Update medical records and patient charts
• Encourage a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant course or equivalent (required)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Prior experience in a hospital, behavioral health, or recovery setting (preferred)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals in recovery

Pay

$25.00 per hour
