Medical Assistant - Outpatient Clinics - Part time
Aspen Valley Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for the Outpatient Clinics department.
About the Role
The Outpatient Clinics Medical Assistant provides clinical care to patients under the direction of physician and nursing staff. In addition, assists with front desk responsibilities including complete and accurate registering of patients, completion of consent for treatment form, obtaining of insurance information, scanning, and charging responsibilities including collection of payment at time of service as appropriate. Practices exceptional customer service, answers phone, assists in maintaining office supplies, and assists with the daily operations of the clinic. Communicates and coordinates information in a knowledgeable and courteous manner with staff, patients, and families. Medical Assistants in the outpatient clinics will float between all outpatient clinics depending on staffing needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients under the direction of physician and nursing staff.
- Assist with front desk responsibilities, including patient registration, completion of consent forms, and obtaining insurance information.
- Handle scanning, charging responsibilities, and collection of payment at time of service.
- Maintain exceptional customer service, answer phones, and assist in maintaining office supplies.
- Support daily clinic operations and communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families.
- Float between outpatient clinics based on staffing needs.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire).
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Current, unrestricted certification or licensure as an EMT in Colorado, or ability to obtain, preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Pay
Compensation range: $22.16 - $35.46 per hour. Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, including years of experience, level of formal education, and professional certifications.
Schedule
Part-time, 8-hour day shifts.
