About the role
Manage the patient journey by greeting patients, taking vitals, collecting medical history, and proactively assisting providers during examinations and procedures. Provide clear, supportive follow-up by updating patients on test results and discussing health-related questions as directed by the provider. Maintain a safe and pristine environment by cleaning and preparing treatment rooms. Drive efficiency by managing critical administrative workflows, including charting, addressing patient questions, and processing referrals and prior authorizations.

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) credential preferred.
- High school diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Preferences
- 1 year of medical assistant experience preferred.
- Medical assistant education and training preferred.
