Medical Assistant, Ortho
Job Description
Under the supervision of the physician or advanced practice clinician (NP or PA), performs Medical Assistant specific tasks, and assesses and educates patients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One year of experience in a clinical setting or completion of a Medical Assistant certification program required
- Training in specialty-specific assisting desired
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required. New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification before completion of orientation.
