SynergenX & Low T Center are nationally recognized leaders in hormone replacement therapy, weight management, and targeted wellness services. We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience while building a long-term career in healthcare. You’ll work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment alongside experienced providers and a supportive clinical team. We provide two weeks of paid training and the opportunity to continue developing your clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Record accurate manual vitals
- Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture
- Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
- Maintain laboratory equipment and complete required quality control documentation
- Run in-house labs and prepare specimens for outside laboratory testing
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of patient lab work
- Assist with inventory management, supply organization, and ordering
- Support front desk operations when needed
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members
- Help create a positive, welcoming, and efficient clinic environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR completion of a documented 180-hour externship
- Experience performing venipuncture and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections highly preferred
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and Saturdays
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
