About the role
The Clinical Neuroscience Institute-MVHS is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN for a full-time position (80 hours per pay period, day shift). This role serves as an integral part of the Premier Physician Network, responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care under the supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers.
Responsibilities
- See upwards of 30 patients per day
- Room patients and collect vitals
- Perform pulmonary function tests
- Administer injections
- Perform EKGs, breathing treatments, and lab testing
- Perform dressing changes and wound cleaning
- Conduct hearing and vision tests
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Maintain attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent certificate
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN
- Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program
- Prior experience in an ambulatory health care facility (preferred)
- Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians
- Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards
- CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment
