Medical Assistant Onsites PRN
This position plays a key role in supporting occupational health services through onsite employer events, performing a variety of clinical and occupational health services while ensuring a positive patient experience and maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs
- Perform respirator fit testing in accordance with established protocols
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements
- Perform blood draws when appropriate orders are in place
- Support onsite occupational health services and client requests as needed
- Maintain proper documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program required
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Minimum of two years of recent, hands-on blood draw experience required

Pay
Starting compensation range is $22.00-$24.00 hourly. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Must be flexible to cover employer onsites throughout the San Diego area.
