Medical Assistant | Oncology | Day Shift | Full-time

About the role

A professional multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in all aspects of medical practice including administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Less than one year of Medical Assistant experience required; one year preferred
• Must be a graduate from an approved Medical Assistant program

Skills

• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
• Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks
• Knowledge of ambulatory health care or related health care fields
• Skilled in conflict resolution
• Ability to use computers

Licensure & Certifications

• Must obtain medical assistant certification within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into the position
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association
