About the role
The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment, ensuring a smooth flow of patients through the office. The MA functions under the license of the physician or advanced practice practitioner when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Must meet one of the following:
- Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or
- Completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or
- 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, NCCT, or NREMT certification preferred.
- For positions located in New Hampshire: NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license required.
- Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.09 to $27.12 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
